Fees and registration

Unlike many other provisions we continue to offer a very flexible system for booking your childcare. This way you do not have to book and pay for care you do not require.

Nursery fees are billed in a way that suits parents/carers and can be made by cash, cheque or via BACS transfer.  We are able to accept all Nursery vouchers.  Click here for the latest voucher list

Six weeks’ written notice is required to terminate any of your sessions. Please note that in the case of illness or absence, fees are still payable. The only time a refund will be given is if provision has to close, due to snow for example..

Constable Country Childcare Provisions are open all year round but are closed on all public and bank holidays. We offer two types of contract, 38 weeks equalling term time and 47 weeks allowing you to take up to 5 weeks holiday at times that suit you.  We also close between Christmas and the New year, which forms part of the holiday entitlement.

We are pleased to be able to offer hot lunches in all settings, currently costing £2.00 for under twos and £2.30 for children over two. As an alternative you can bring in a healthy packed lunch for your child.  Teas are also available should they be needed.

The following fees apply for our settings at St Michael’s, East Bergholt Young Explorers and Stutton Young Explorers.

Care for babies (0-2) is £5.25 per hour and the day rate from 8am to 6pm is £47.25.

Care for toddlers and pre-school children is £4.75 per hour and the day rate from 8am to 6pm is £44.75.

We also offer a special rate for twins.  We accept government funding for 2 and 3 year olds where applicable

The following fees apply for our settings at Brooklands Young Explorers where all children are aged 3 or above.

Most children attending BYE will be in receipt of 15 hours of government funding or 30 hours free childcare for working parents.  Any extra childcare is charged at £4.75 per hour.

We also have a day rate of £44.75 from 8am - 6pm.
